My tribute to the lives lost today 10 years ago. If my cousin wasn’t late for work, I could’ve lost her. I remember in 2nd grade watching the plane hit the tower live. I was nervous. Not scared. I didn’t know what was going on. As I grew up, I learned more about it. How the passengers on United Airlines Flight 93, fought to prevent the plane from reaching the white house. True heroes. This event didn’t make us weaker. If anything it made us stronger. This is not a day to show animosity towards a certain group of people or a day to point fingers and blame so and so. It’s a day to remember the heroes, & innocent lives lost. I’m proud to be an American.
